(KAIR) -- Two 17-year-old Atchison juveniles are certified as adults in two separate burglary cases.
Jason Price, Junior pled no contest Thursday to amended burglary and theft charges in Atchison County District Court.
He pled to two counts each of burglary of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor theft.
As part of the plea agreement, he agreed to pay restitution on seven different vehicles that were reported to be burglarized in the case.
Price was certified due to his prior criminal record.
He was arrested June 20th by Atchison Police on the matter in connection to a string of car burglaries reported near the 10 hundred block of Kearney.
He’s spent the last several weeks in Juvenile Detention in Leavenworth.
Price was released on a signature bond following the hearing.
Also alleged to have been involved in those burglaries is 21-year-old Evan E. Taylor of Burleson, Texas.
He remains in Atchison County Jail on 10 thousand dollars bond and will make his next appearance on August 6th.
In a separate case, Dalton Dyer was also certified as an adult on vehicle burglary-related charges stemming from mid-June.
A preliminary hearing for the case is scheduled for August 7th.
