(KAIR) -- Atchison Planning Commissioner Mike Farrell is set to resign from the Atchison Planning Commission.
Farrell, who has served on the commission for the last two years, says he plan’s to submit a formal letter this week and that Wednesday’s meeting was his last one.
He’s leaving the post due to scheduling conflicts with a new job that he’s planning to take in Lansing.
Farrell says he’s learned a lot about the role since he first took office.

Plans have not been finalized on his replacement as of yet.
