U.S. Senator Pat Roberts’ office is currently accepting applications for students interested in an internship on Capitol Hill for the upcoming fall semester.
Those students who are interested can find the application listed on the senator’s website at Roberts.senate.gov.
The application deadline to intern during fall semester is July 23rd.
Priority is given to those students who are in their junior and senior years in college.
Students can expect to have a different experience every day.
While their primary duties consist of assisting staff in legislative research and administrative work, they also spend their time attending briefings and congressional hearings, watching debates on the Senate floor and interacting with Kansans who visit the Capitol, all while participating in the cultural events that make our nation’s capital unique.
Senator Roberts offers internships throughout the year in his Washington, DC office.
Questions should be directed to the Intern Coordinator in Roberts’ Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-4774.
