The Atchison Planning Commission will discuss the city’s comprehensive plan to see if potential modifications are needed at their upcoming monthly meeting.
It will take place at 4:30 Wednesday afternoon at City Hall.
Community Development Director Stefanie Leif says it’s time to look at the plan again.

The commission will also conduct two public hearings.
The first will be to consider approving a setback variance for a single family home for Richard and Loretta Pennington at the northeast corner of 5th and Green Streets.
The other hearing is to approve an application for a conditional use permit for Tammy Allen to have a home-based bakery at 1649 Beechwood Drive.
The Planning Commission will also look to recommend the annual capital improvement plan to the City Commission as well as consider scheduling a public hearing for the August meeting for proposed change to sign regulations.
