While burn bans are in affect for several portions of the area, it will not hinder several public displays throughout the region this evening.
In Atchison, the 60th annual Atchison Lions Club public display will be at Warnock Lake, beginning at 9:30.
Organizer David Hundley says it holds a long standing tradition involving his family and the organization for the event begins months in advance.

There will be no special pick-ups on Wednesday, but Public Works will accept requests for the following week.
City crews ask citizens to have all refuse set out by 7 AM to help them serve you better.
