The Falls City Volunteer Fire Department was called out Saturday about 5 p-m to 1813 McLean Street to the home of Tammy McFeeters.
Children shooting fireworks in front of the house shot one up into a tree and the tree caught on fire. 10 volunteer firemen responded to the call.
The Fire Department is urging everyone to be very careful with fireworks due to the extreme dry conditions in the area.
