An Atchison woman is recovering from injuries after her vehicle struck the construction dumpster used for the Atchison County Courthouse ADA elevator and women’s restroom project.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, Jeanette Drake’s vehicle was traveling southbound in the 400 block of North 5th when she struck the dumpster around 10:30 Wednesday night.
She was transported by to the Atchison Hospital by ambulance for reported treatment of a broken arm.
