Phase 2 of Hiawatha Streetscape Project Begins
The City of Hiawatha, along with AHRS Construction, will begin construction for phase two of the downtown streetscape project this week on Utah Street, between sixth and seventh streets.
Due to the project, the trees currently planted in the construction zone will be removed.
Anyone wanting to have one or more of these trees relocated at their expense should contact Public Works Director Dave Grimm at (785)742-3196 before June 15.
