The Pawnee City Council will meet at 7:30 Tuesday evening at City Hall.
Two public hearings highlight the agenda. A hearing is scheduled for eight o’clock on the Blight and Substandard Study and General Redevelopment Plan. The hearing will be followed by consideration of two resolutions, one to declare an area to be blighted and substandard and another to approve the town’s Redevelopment Plan.
A second public hearing is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. to discuss vacating a portion of K Street.
Other agenda items include discussion of updates to the employee handbook; review the Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance renewal for the next year; and review a notice of valuation changes on well pasture properties.
The council will also discuss a counter offer to the Pawnee County Commission on the Law Enforcement Agreement. The county is proposing a six-percent annual increase for the next three years.
