Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld made preparations for one Benedictine College classes’ final more interesting Wednesday evening.
He participated in a conference call for “The American Presidency” class, taught by Army Colonel William Raymond, Adjunct Professor at Benedictine College.
He said, with his previous experience in talking to national leaders, he was able to arrange the conference call with Rumseld while interacting with him during Rumsfeld’s recent visit to Fort Leavenworth.

During the call, Secretary Rumsfeld talked about his memoir: Known and Unknown.
He told students about what they should think about when it comes to the Presidency.

Rumsfeld spoke to the class for 45 minutes on various topics, answering questions from students and closing answering one from Benedictine President Steve Minnis.
Topics included the use of drones in war, military tactics and Rumsfeld’s most defining moment.
Students will take their final in the class on Monday night.
