Wahoo Guard to Play Basketball at Nebraska
Wahoo senior guard Sadie Murren will play basketball at the University of Nebraska. She had signed to play at the Wisconsin-Green Bay, but changed her mind after a coaching change at the school.
Murren had offers from Illinois and Iowa State as well, but chose the Huskers. She’ll play alongside current player Emily Cady, who played with Murren on their Cornhusker Shooting Stars team.
The 5-foot-7 Murren averaged 17.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.2 steals in leading Wahoo to a 21-5 season. She is also the school's career record holder in points, steals and assists.
