Commissioners also took their meeting on the road, to view McPherson Road near Cummings, which could see improvements to handle trucks for a proposed rock quarry in that area.
They also viewed a fracture critical bridge on 258th Road South of U-S 59, as well as River Road.
Commissioners didn’t meet this (Wednesday) morning as they are attending (attended) the annual Kansas County Commissioner Association meeting in Lawrence.
