The Atchison County Sheriff’s Reserves are creating an educational scholarship in honor of fallen Atchison Police Sergeant David Enzbrenner.
Atchison County Sheriff John Calhoon explains how the two 500 dollar scholarships will be decided upon.

Calhoon says he will be distributing the information to the principals Monday.
However, the application period will only last around a week.
Calhoon says the Sheriff’s Reserves plan to pledge one thousand dollars to the fund annually, but since they are a non-profit organization, they are looking for interested individuals to pledge to the fund for potential larger scholarship amounts in years to come.
