Taxpayers in Atchison County will see less coming out of their pocketbooks after Commissioners approved a resolution to re-finance the bonds for the Atchison Sports Complex.
County Commissioner Jeff Schuele explains.

The board also heard another update from Heinicke LLC on potential implementation of solid waste fees and upgrades to the solid waste system.
Schuele says it was information needed for presentation at the next scheduled joint city/county meeting on April 30th.

Commissioners also approved issuance of one point eight million dollars of educational revenue bonds at Benedictine College.
There is not an obligation to the county as they needed a public entity to just issue the bonds.
