When the new Holton Middle School Principal begins his job, it will be a homecoming of sorts, with the selected individual familiar with the local area.
34-year-old Michael Kimberlin, who was chosen to fill the position by the USD 336 Board of Education, says Holton is the perfect fit for him, both professionally and personally(Play Audio :26 seconds)
Kimberlin says he hopes to bring new ideas, and fresh perspectives, into the Holton Middle School(Play Audio :30 seconds)
Kimberlin currently serves as principal at Garden Plain Elementary, located about 15 minutes west of Wichita.
He is married with three young children, two daughters and son.
Kimberlin was among 34 applicants for the position, and replaced Ralph Blevins, whose contract was not renewed by the board in February.
