Four Big Seven teams meet up in a quad track meet in Hiawatha yesterday. In the boys side it was the Kaws of Perry-Lecompton that were able to come home with the overall team victory finishing with 75 total points, with 16 individual or team top three finishers on the day. Host school the Hiawatha Red Hawks came away with second on the boys side with 72 total team points and 13 top three individual or team performances on the day.
Rounding out the action in the boys track action at Hiawatha was the Sabetha Bluejays with a third place finish, 49 total points and 10 top three finishes on the day and Nemaha Valley took fourth with 36 total points and eight top three finisher's in the track meet.
For the girls side of the track meet it was almost exactly opposite the boys in the team standings, as Sabetha took home first with a team total of 75 points and 15 top three performances on the day and Nemaha Valley, came away with second place finishing with a team total of 60 points and nine top three finishes on the day.
Perry-Lecompton finished third with 56 total points, seeing 13 top three finishes from the track athletes. Fourth place went to Hiawatha, as they finished with 50 total team points and 11 top three finishers.
