Kansas Governor Sam Brownback announced today the appointment of Lee Borck as a member of the Kansas Bioscience Authority (KBA).
“Lee is a well-qualified and highly respected advocate for Kansas agriculture interests,” Governor Brownback said. “I appreciate his willingness to serve the State of Kansas in this important role.”
Borck earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics at Kansas State University in 1970. He is chairman of Innovative Livestock Services and of the Beef Marketing Group Cooperative. In 2011, Borck was named to Ingram’s “50 Kansans You Should Know” and was elected into the “Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame”.
Borck’s appointment must be confirmed by the Kansas Senate. He succeeds KBA board member John Carlin.
