Phyllis R. Idol, 78, of the Maple Grove Apartments of Hiawatha, died Wednesday afternoon, May 7, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, after a brief illness.

Among survivors are her daughters:  Gerri (Allen) Rathake of Circleville, Sue Barnes of Silver Lake; a sister Carol Gentry of Falls City, Nebraska; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services are planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha.

The family will meet with friends from 7 until 8 Friday evening.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Olive Branch Cemetery, White Cloud, which may be sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th St., 66434.
