William Barden Larkin, 85 of Nortonville passed away Friday May 2, 2014 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS.
 
Memorial mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday May 8, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Nortonville, KS, with Father Lazar Carasala as celebrant.  Burial of cremains will be at a later date in the Nortonville Cemetery, Nortonville, KS.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to final expenses and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton & O’Trimble Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com
 
Bill was born October 28, 1928 the son of William and Ann (Barden) Larkin.  He worked as a bank trust officer for many years in Indiana, PA before moving to Topeka then Nortonville, where he worked at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School in building maintenance.  Bill was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and enjoyed playing golf.
 
Bill married Betty on November 4, 1970 in Indiana, PA.  She survives of the home.  Additional survivors include three sons: Bill, John Christopher and Michael, five daughters; Dian, Patricia, Michelle, Donna and Betty Jean, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Patricia Jones.
