Linda Schuetz, 73, of Hiawatha passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Maple Heights Nursing Home.

Linda was born to Robert and Anna (Lehn) Heinrich on June 17, 1951, in Horton, Kansas. Linda graduated from Horton High School. She lived in Horton until she married Daniel Schuetz on May 13, 1972, at St. Leo's Catholic Church. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy. The couple moved to Hiawatha where they raised their two beloved daughters, Amber and Kara.

Linda enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, gardening, sewing, and making counted cross-stitch pictures. She was active in the local 4-H community by being a fair superintendent and was on the Brown County Fair Board.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include husband, Daniel of Hiawatha; children, Amber (Derrick) Strohm of Olathe and Kara Schuetz of Topeka; grandchildren, Hudson and Harrison Strohm of Olathe.

Rosary will be prayed at Dishon Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 6:30 PM followed by visitation from 7:00-8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Horton. Burial will follow at St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the NEK Hospice, Brown County 4-H foundation or St. Ann's Catholic Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
