Rebecca A. Butrick, of Hiawatha, began her heavenly life on December 11, 2024.

Becky was born March 8, 1935, one of ten children born to the late Roscoe and Zollie Kerns Foster, in Falls City, Nebraska.

She attended country schools until she was in junior high then high school, in Falls City.

On August 23, 1953, she married the love of her life Donald R. Butrick. To this union five children were born: William, Zollie, Cynthia, Larry, and Peggy. They raised their family in White Cloud, Robinson communities before moving to Hiawatha to make their home in later years.

She worked at the Brown County Infirmary, Belmont Casket Company in Falls City, Wilde Tool Company in Hiawatha, and Hammersmith Manufacturing in Horton.

Becky loved to cook, bake, growing flowers, watching wild birds and listening to them sing. She enjoyed sitting on the deck and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren ‘to the moon and back’.

Survivors include her children: Larry Butrick (Christie), William Butrick (Joyce), and Peggy Hanesworth (Larry); 10 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Becky was preceded in by her parents, husband Don, April 5, 2018, daughters Zollie, and Cynthia; grandson Dyllon, great-grandson Brock; and all nine of her siblings.

Memorial Services are planned for 1030 a.m. December 28, 2024, at Valley Avenue Baptist Church of Falls City, Nebraska, with Pastor Chad Berry officiating. Interment will follow at afternoon at Olive Branch Cemetery, White Cloud.

Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home December 23, or the 27th.
