Mary Louise Vaincourt, 66, of Holton, KS passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at Holton Hospital.

She was born August 24, 1958 in Holton, the daughter of Ralph Dilman and Florence E. Burton Cattrell. She graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 1976.

Mary had worked for several years at the Jackson County Nursing Home. She has been self-employed for many years, cleaning and caring for many people and businesses in the community. Mary was very devoted to her family and cared for them and the people she worked for immensely. She had great passion for sewing, gardening and laughing. She had attended the Circleville Christian Church.

She was married to Ross Harrison Vaincourt on March 18, 2005 in Holton. He survives of the home. Mary is also survived by her son, Ryan Alley (Lindsay) of Circleville, KS; her daughter, Reva Alley of Holton, KS; her stepdaughters, Amanda Vaincourt (Ted Meuleman) and Andrea Vaincourt (Chris) both of London Ontario, Canada; her sisters, Wilma Mosher of Odessa, MO and Connie Woltje of Circleville, KS; her brothers, Larry Cattrell (Rita) of Circleville, KS and Charles Cattrell (Ardeth) of Topeka, KS; her granddaughters, Abri and Adalie Alley and 8 step-grandchildren, Brittaney, Valin, Stella, Kristopher and Xavier Meuleman, Braeden Vaincourt and Mikaela and Kaelen Halliwell.

In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her daughter, Arin L. Alley in 2018; her sister, Phyllis Tannahill in 2024 and her brothers-in-law, Melvin Mosher and Ernie Woltje.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Casual dress is suggested by the family.
