Marie Elayne Myer, 88, of Hiawatha, KS, formerly of Holton, KS, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 at The Pines in Hiawatha, KS. She was born October 17, 1935 in Wichita, KS, the adopted daughter of Boyd H. and Ada Adella (Hampton) Fridell.

Marie graduated from Robinson High School. She was a homemaker and housewife.

She married Rollo “Milton” Myer on April 27, 1968 in Soldier, KS. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2017 after 49 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Ada Fridell and a son, Larry Adam Myer on December 7, 1995.

Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Soldier Cemetery. Family and friends will meet from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton before going in procession to the cemetery.
