Darold “Jay” Buehler

Darold Jay Buehler, 82, of Holton, KS, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at The Pines in Holton, KS. He was born March 14, 1942 in Holton, KS, the son of Harvey Loren and Isabell Emma Harris Buehler.
Jay graduated from Netawaka High School in 1960 and had attended heating and air schooling. After high school, he worked on repairs for heating and air conditioning.
Jay worked for Holton Countrymart stocking shelves until its closing. He worked stocking shelves for Walmart in Holton and later at Sac and Fox Casino as a Security Guard.
He was a member of the Circleville Christian Church and former member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.
Jay married Carol I. Dibbern on January 18, 2003 at the Circleville Christian Church. She preceded him in death on February 27, 2022, after 19 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Isabell Buehler; twin brother, Harold R. Buehler and sister, Gerladine Amon.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Tammy Hennes of Clearwater, KS, Charla Carroll of Circleville, KS and Denise Hennes of Emporia, KS; 2 sons, Chance Buehler and Loren R. Buehler both of El Dorado Springs, MO; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews; including Gerald Amon (Stacy) of Netawaka, KS.
Graveside Inurnment will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 at the Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
