Bridgette Ann Lutz, age 73, of Atchison, Kansas, passed on September 15, 2024, at her home.

Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Pastor George Baugh officiating. A visitation with the family will begin at 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the Rushville Christian Church or the Salvation Army. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Bridgette was born on June 19, 1951, in Brookville, MO. She attended schools in Kansas City and later earned her Bachelor- Degree from Missouri Western in Library Science. She loved kids and used her talents as a librarian at Rushville and DeKalb schools. She also served as a teacher- assistant and was a substitute teacher for many years; she especially enjoyed substituting for her sons’ classes. Bridgette managed the Salvation Army in Atchison assisting countless families during her time there.

She was very involved in the Rushville Christian Church and taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed the coed bowling league, reading books and she loved all animals and wildlife, but adored her pets the most. Her grandchildren became her favorite part of life and she loved spending time with them.

Bridgette and Kennith Lutz were married on November 27, 1976, in Atchison, he survives of their home. She is also survived by her son, Craig (Melissa) Lutz; and her three precious grandchildren, Xavier Lutz, Maverick Lutz and Maci Lutz; and her mother-in-law, Lois Lutz.
