Charles Raymond Culver, 66, of Holton, Kansas, previously of Effingham, Kansas died Tuesday July 30, 2024, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday August 5, 2024, with visitation one hour prior from 10:00-11:00am at the Becker Chapel in Effingham, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses and can be sent in care of Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Charles was born on June 15, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Raymond and Garnet (Adamson) Culver. For most of his life Charles worked a variety of factory jobs. His last job was as a foreman and line worker making irrigation pipes. Charles collected sail ships, built sail ship models, loved playing cards with the family, especially kings in the corner, and fishing.

Charles was married to Nora (Bittner) on January 10th, 1982, she survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons Nathaniel Culver, El Dorado, KS and Daniel (Amy) Culver, Holton, KS, two brothers David Culver, Pawnee City, NE and Bill Culver, Garden City, KS, a sister Pepper Bowen, of Oklahoma, three grandchildren Braxton, Carleigh and Ember Culver. His parents preceded him in death.
