Lilly R. Westmoreland, 53, Atchison, Kansas died Monday, July 8, 2024 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, with Pastor Tony Carter, officiating. A visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Lilly was born April 3, 1971 in Ardmore, Oklahoma the daughter of Cecil Westmoreland and Betty Hearn. She attended elementary school in Waurika, Oklahoma and graduated from Atchison High School in 1989. She also attended college in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Lilly enjoyed playing outdoor games with the grandchildren and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Cecilia Westmoreland, Patience Shields and Candace Shields all of Atchison, KS; two sisters, Lynn Westmoreland, Atchison, KS; Pamela Helfinstine, Zena, OK; a brother, James Delzeit, Troy, KS; and six grandchildren, Dorian, Nate, Xavier, Elijah, Gabe and Cruz.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brice Sowers, parents Cecil and Betty and her grandmother, Lorene Coffelt, a sister, Penny Almaraz; and two brothers, Eddie Delzeit and William Delzeit.
