Victoria ‘Vicky’ Lynn Pilcher, 69, of Cummings, Kansas died July 9, 2024, at KU Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Cremation will follow visitation. Burial will be held at a later date. Vicky was born on July 12, 1954, in Atchison, Kansas. Daughter of Ronald and Virginia (Lutz) Jones. Vicky attended Washington and Central grade school, graduating from Atchison High School in 1972. She married Vernon L. Moorshead in 1973, having two sons, Shawn and Scott. After divorcing, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Pilcher in 1979. They celebrated 45 years of marriage; he survives at the home. She loved living in the country, helping with all livestock, barn cats and dogs. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing. She loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, sons, Shawn & Scott (Dawn) Moorshead, stepdaughter, Jody (David) Buster, five grandchildren, and brother, Ronald Jones Jr.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dan Jones and grandson Cody.
