Jamie Jean Herrmann-Niehues, 46, of Wichita, Kansas, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Jamie was born on December 4, 1977, in Sabetha, Kansas to Mark and Debbie (King) Herrmann. She attended Sabetha schools and graduated from Sabetha High School in the class of 1996. Jamie was employed for many years at Wilson Trailer Company in Sioux City, Iowa. Most recently, she was employed at LKQ Auto Parts in Wichita, Kansas. She took great pride in her work and was a dedicated employee.

Jamie was a devoted mother to her two sons, Nathan and Jonathan, whom she dearly cherished. She was deeply passionate about her role as a mother and dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and supporting her sons. Throughout her life, Jamie brought joy to those around her with her infectious laughter and warm smile. Family and friends will never forget Jamie- natural ability to play the piano and bring melodies to life with her fingertips. Her music filled the hearts of those around her, creating moments of joy and lasting memories.

In recent years, Jamie found solace and strength through her faith and grew spiritually alongside her life group at her church. She embraced her spiritual journey with an open heart, drawing closer to her beliefs, and finding comfort in her community of fellow believers.

Jamie was known for her unwavering love, kindness, and selflessness towards her family and friends. Her memory will be forever cherished, and she will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her boundless love, musical talent, and the profound impact she had on the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Jamie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ray and Alice Herrmann; her maternal grandfather, Ward King; and her maternal grandmother, Helen Finger.

Jamie is survived by her beloved sons, Nathan and Jonathan; her loving parents, Mark and Debbie Herrmann; her two brothers, Scott Herrmann and Jesse (Shelly) Herrmann; her sister, Lindsey (Jason); her three cherished nephews, Kobe Shroyer, Ty (Lydia Myers) Herrmann, and Daniel Herrmann; her three cherished nieces, Morgan (Christian) Meyer, Allie Herrmann, and Emma Merritt; her aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Crossroads Wesleyan Church in Sabetha, Kansas. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. The service will be live-streamed via the Crossroads Wesleyan Church Facebook page. Interment will be made in the Albany Cemetery, north of Sabetha.
