Robert Lee Page, Sr., aged 78, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away on February 13, 2024, at Mountain Vista Hospital in Mesa, Arizona, after battling cancer.

Robert, the third eldest of five children, was born on March 14, 1945, in Atchison, Kansas, to Raymond and Viola (Weir) Page. He graduated from Atchison High School in May of 1963. Those who knew him well, knew that he preferred the name Bob Page.

Bob joined the US Navy in July 1963, serving on the U.S.S. Ticonderoga aircraft carrier during the Vietnam War. He was released from active duty in July 1967 and received an honorable discharge in July 1969.

Bob married Pamela Cooper in July 1968, and they had two children from this marriage, Robert Page Jr., and Dawn Page (Moore). Bob and Pam later divorced in March 1975.

After his military service, Bob pursued a career in law enforcement. He started with the Atchison Police Department in Kansas from January 1969 to November 1971. Later, in December 1971, the family moved to Gladstone, Missouri, where Bob continued his law enforcement career, rising to the rank of detective. During his time, he received three letters of commendation for recovering stolen property. Bob concluded his police career in June 1980.

Bob remarried in August 1977, to Michele Horton. They divorced in September 1979, with no children from this marriage.

During the 1980s and into the early to mid-1990s, Bob held various security positions. He transitioned to an IT career in 1995, starting at Gateway 2000.

Bob married for a third time to Joan Reynolds in June 1997. Joan died of a brain aneurysm on October 31, 1997.

In October 2001, Bob moved to Arizona. He worked in IT until January 2012 when health issues led him to retire. Bob spent his retirement years in the San Tan Valley area until his passing.

Bob's wife Joan, his parents, Raymond and Viola (Weir) Page, his brothers Henry Page and Jack Page, and his grandson Ted Trainer have all preceded him in death.

Bob is survived by his two children: Robert Page, Jr., (Mary Ann Panijan) of Kansas City, Missouri, and daughter Dawn (Jeff) Moore of Beloit, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his sister Ellen Reno of Atchison, Kansas, and brother David (Elaine) Page of St. Joseph, Missouri. Additionally, he is survived by his granddaughter Alexandria Page (Brian Thorn) of Manchester, Iowa, and grandson Kimble Trainer of Highland, Kansas.

Graveside services with the Navy honor guard will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas. After the funeral, the family will gather at the Elks Lodge in Atchison, Kansas.
