Helen Diane Billington, 75, of Atchison, KS, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at her home in Atchison.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Fr. Jeremy Heppler, OSB as officiant.
Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Kansas State University Cancer Research Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.

Helen was born October 18, 1948, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Phillip and Viola (Viles) Knowles. She attended Atchison County Community High School and Atchison High School. Helen worked for McCormick Distillery as a receiving Clerk in Weston, MO, for thirty-nine years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and enjoyed working in the yard, word search puzzles. She especially loved her family.

Helen married Gregory Clair on March 26, 2004; he survives of the home. She is also survived by daughters, Brenda Coffelt, Atchison, KS, Janice Jansen, Atchison, KS, sons, Justin (Angel) Coffelt, Atchison, KS, Chris Coffelt, Travis Klinegardner, four brothers, Tom Knowles, Robert Knowles, Roger Knowles, Gary Knowles, seven sisters, Jeanne Burton, Carol Knowles, Gail Sanders, Debbie Welch, Stacey Servaes, Jackie Roles, Mary Werring, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents and a brother Kenny Knowles.
