Jeffrey Allen Rose, age 53, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Veterans Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Jeff was born June 20, 1968, to Delbert Rose of Humboldt, NE and Violet Dotson of Vermillion, KS. He grew up in northeast Kansas and southeast Nebraska. In his early years Jeff joined the Army and served abroad and stateside.

He held several different positions during his lifetime. The positions held close to his heart that he enjoyed the most where the following: Firestone Tire, Scholl Fertilizer, Rich Andrew Farm, Snethen Farms and his last employment Morris Excavation in Council Bluffs, IA. In life, sometimes the ones most broken from inside are the ones most willing to help others. Every day he got up and chose one thing that could not be bought, to be a caring, helping person. Jeff never knew a stranger and always gave it his all. Some of his favorite things he enjoyed were farm equipment, semi-trucks, and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife of six months, two daughters, four sisters, several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and an abundance of close friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by both parents, brother, Larry Rose, and sister, Pam Gouty.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Howard Blecha officiating.  A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at noon at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Vicky and Chuck Lynch, 912 Cherry Lane, Humboldt, Nebraska.

Inurnment will be held at the Vermillion Cemetery,  Vermillion, Kansas at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, June 19, 2022.
