Thomas M. Davis, 91, of Topeka, KS, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka.

He was born October 11, 1930, south of Valley Falls, KS, the son of Kenneth T. and Lottie Davis.Tom graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1949 and attended one year at Washburn University. He worked at Topeka Fire Department for over 26 years and retired as Fire Captain. He worked in several stations in the Topeka area. He was also a private pilot instructor at Billard Airport, Mid-America Aviation, and Million Air. He attended Fellowship Bible Church in Topeka.

 Tom married Martha “Ann” Muirhead on October 11, 1962 in Shreveport, LA. They celebrated over 59 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Ann of the home; 3 daughters, Lisa K. Davis-Dayan (Dr. Michael Dayan) of San Francisco, CA, Amy Thompson (Phil) of Topeka, KS, Teri Johnson (Tim) of Topeka, KS, and a step-granddaughter Maggie Sullivan (Ben).

 Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will follow at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Thomas will lie in state Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday until service time.
