Theola A. “Tee” Guettermann, 98, Atchison, Kansas died Friday, July 16, 2021 at Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Church in Atchison, Kansas. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at the church. A parish rosary will be recited at 10:30 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Benedict’s Parish or St. Benedict Catholic School and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Tee was born November 30, 1922, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Frances (Leszkowicz) Pubrat. She attended St. Adalberts Grade School and graduated from East Side High.

She and Norman were united in marriage on November 16, 1946 in East St. Louis, Illinois. Mr. Guettermann preceded her in death on June 9, 2011.

She was employed as an administrative assistant at Northeast Kansas Vocational-Technical School for over 20 years.

Tee was a member of St. Benedict’s Parish, the St. Benedict’s Ladies Club, Atchison Hospital Axillary, and the Polish National Alliance. She enjoyed playing scrabble, bowling, dancing and following the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda F. Dinsmore, Overland Park, KS, Rita L. Guettermann, San Diego, CA, two sons, Norman (Sharon) C. Guettermann, Kansas City, MO, Stephen F. Guettermann, Bozeman, MT, and five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Pubrat, three sisters, Stella Pubrat, Rose Kacinski, and Josephine Lekosky.
