Mildred “Pauline” Hollis Jacobs, 86, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

She was born on August 26, 1934 in Horton, Kansas the daughter of Homer and Sylvia Walker Mayhew. Pauline was a mother and housewife, she also had worked for the Horton Garment Factory and Flair Fold in Hiawatha.   She was a member of the Muscotah United Church. On March 7, 1954 she married William C. Hollis at the Horton Christian Church. He preceded her death in 1991. She then married Floyd Jacobs on March 8, 1993 in Muscotah, Kansas. They later were divorced.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen (Tim) Stevens of Horton, Kansas; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous special friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Billy Hollis Jr., daughter, Carla Sowers, sister, Maxine Grace, brother, Homer Mayhew Jr. and a granddaughter, Belynda Pennington.

 Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time.  Inurnment will follow at the Muscotah Cemetery.
