Waneda Jean Huff, 96, of Atchison Kansas died on Friday, April 8, 2021 at the Atchison Medicalodge.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 12th, 2021 at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Rev. Michael Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 1:45 pm on Monday at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Waneda was born on Feb. 10, 1925 in East Leavenworth, KS the daughter of Vern R. and Odessa M. (Berry) Baker. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1943. She owned and operated theHuff Liquor Store in Atchison, was a Avon Lady, and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.

She was married to Raymond Huff in 1945. Mr. Huff preceded her in death in 1974. Survivors include a son Don (Martha) Huff, Atchison, KS, a granddaughter, Brandy Wilson, Indianapolis, IN and three great grandchildren. Her parents, husband Raymond, a son Darrell Huff (2009), and a brother Douglas Baker preceded her in death.
