Edwynn "Moe" Waab-Ne-Wii Thomas, 73, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

He was born on July 16, 1947 in Horton, Kansas the son of Leonard and Orcelia Mason Thomas Sr. Moe served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe. He was a school bus driver for years and most recently drove for the Kickapoo Headstart. On February 25, 1977 he married Lucinda "Cindy" Oliver in Hiawatha, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife Cindy Thomas of the home; two sons, Kenneth Thomas of Kansas City, Missouri and Elwynn Thomas of Horton, Kansas; three daughters, Sherry Thomas of Horton, Kansas, Edwina Kahkee Thomas of Horton, Kansas and Lisa Thomas Bilby of Topeka, Kansas; brother, Fred Thomas of Horton, Kansas; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren with two on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Loren Thomas, Leonard Thomas Jr. and Kaye Miller.

Kennekuk Church services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation with burial to follow at the Kennekuk Cemetery. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
