Thomas John “Tom” McCullough

Thomas John “Tom” McCullough, 61, a lifelong resident of Oskaloosa, died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at F.W. Huston Sr. Living Center in Winchester. 

He was born July 5, 1959 at Winchester, the son of Alfred Wilbur and Berniece Ruth Jacobson McCullough. He was a 1976 graduate of McLouth High School and he attended the Northeast Kansas Vo-Tech School in Atchison for two years. He was a farmer and dairyman, working on the family farm most of his life. He also worked as a custom truck driver for Bill Newick and Koch Trucking Company of Sabetha.  He was a member of Oskaloosa First Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Eagle’s Lodge Arie #4015  in Oskaloosa and the Oskaloosa Jaycees.
 

Survivors include, a brother, Timothy “Tim” (Sherye) McCullough, Oskaloosa, a sister, Suzanne “Suzy” (John) Norman, Oskaloosa, and  extended family of nieces, nephews, an uncle and cousins.
 

A Grave Side Service will be at 11:30 AM, Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa.  Mr. McCullough will lie in state 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday at Barnett Family Funeral Home ,Oskaloosa, where friends and family may sign the register book and pay respects.
