Lyle Dean Nussbaum, 81, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 27, 2020 at Lincoln, NE. He was born August 13, 1939 at Falls City to Glen and Ruby (Zimmerman) Nussbaum.

He married Lois Rowell on April 2, 1959 at Falls City. She passed away November 24, 2005.

Dean was raised in rural Verdon and graduated Verdon High School in 1958. Following graduation he went to work at Frontier Trailer Factory and then was employed by Airlanco, retiring in 2003. He fancied himself a mountain man, loving the outdoors, civil war history, Lewis and Clark, black powder guns and cooking slop.

Dean is survived by his children, Harold and his wife Debbie of Falls City, Vicki Rowland of Falls City, brothers, Myron and his wife Mary Helen and Rolland and his wife Dora both of Falls City and a grandson, Scott Rowland. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother, Dennis and a granddaughter, Kari Vogele.

His funeral will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Yount officiating. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
