Marlene M. Alberts, age 84 of Auburn, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at her home near Auburn.

Survivors include her husband Eiber “Ike” Alberts; children and their spouses Becky and Randall Rippe, Mary Lyn and Bill Kruger, Tim and Amy Alberts; grandchildren and their spouses: Kyle Rippe, Thomas and Erin Wininger, Rachel and Jared Meiergerd, Brooke and Connor Manning, Kayla and Andrew Schulte, Hanna and Tom Danner, Kendra and Devin Beller, Evan Alberts; step-grandchildren and spouse: Adam & Heidi Kruger, Chad Kruger, Connor Smith, Aidan Smith; great-grandson Jackson Ryan Schulte, born the day before she passed; sister Wilma Geyer; brothers-in-law Everet Boeck, Richard Plager; sister-in-law Vivian Oestmann; brother-in-law Wayne Moerer; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service with social distancing encouraged will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran (Hickory Grove) Church near Auburn. The funeral service will be broadcast on 87.9 f.m. available in church parking lot. Burial will follow in the St. Paul (Hickory Grove) Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends 5:00 to 7:00.
