Gilbert Leroy “Manny” Correll, Jr., 60, of Osawatomie, KS, formerly of Onaga, KS, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Manny fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed away with his family by his side.

He was born July 8, 1959 in Seneca, KS, the son of Gilbert Leroy and Grace Elizabeth (Myers) Correll. Manny graduated from Onaga High School in 1977 and had attended Emporia State University.

Manny worked for over 42 years at Union Pacific Railroad in maintenance. He retired in 2019.

Manny had a great love for his family. It was very important to him to be present for his grandkids for all occasions. He rarely missed a Correll Thanksgiving or family get togethers.

 He married Jody Ann Myers on December 15, 1979 and February 9, 1992, they divorced. He married Carroll Poier in 2000, they divorced.

 Survivors include his daughter, Tabetha D. Davis (Josh) of Paola, KS; his son, Tyler W. Correll (Kate) of Pleasanton, KS; his parents, Gilbert and Grace Correll of Onaga, KS; a sister, Pamela Daniels (Todd) of Auburn, KS; 2 brothers, Randy Correll (Georgi) of Topeka, KS and Chad Correll of Onaga, KS; 6 grandchildren, Jordan, Aidan, Keagan and Courtney Davis and Harper and Colt Correll; 4 nieces, Chelsey, Raven, Cheyanne and Brooklyn; 6 nephews, Brandon, Holden, Ryan, Wyatt, Jesse and Jaxon and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Havensville Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning before the service.
