Mark Clelland
formerly of Sabetha , KS

Mark Alan Clelland, 53, of Fort Worth, Texas, died on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, in his home.

He was born July 5, 1966, at the Offutt Air Force Base Hospital in Bellevue, Neb., to Charles and Sharon (McCorkle) Clelland.

Mark graduated from Sabetha High School in 1984 and worked for BNSF Railway most of his career.

He was an outgoing and talented person who loved his family and friends. Mark was naturally musically talented. He played the piano, guitar, saxophone and also sang. He took dancing lessons with his sister and aunt, and also participated in several high school plays.

Mark was so excited and proud to watch his nephew, Carrson Davis, during Taekwondo practice and tournaments.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Scott McCorkle, and Robert and Rose Mary Clelland; uncles, Dennis, Carl and Darrell McCorkle; and great-grandparents, Bill Norton, Lawrence and Norma (Norton) Snyder and Harold and Mabel McCorkle.

Mark is survived by his sister, Jennifer (Mike) Davis of Fort Worth, Texas; his nephew, Carrson (McCorkle) Davis; his grandmother, Roma (Norton) McCorkle of Sabetha; his uncle, Jeff McCorkle of Fairview; and his aunt, Jeannie McCorkle of Sabetha.

Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Trinity Church of the Brethren in Sabetha. Inurnment will be made at a later date at Pleasant View Cemetery in Athol, to be laid next to his mother.
