Barbara Ann Lynch, 64, of Holton, KS, passed Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Olathe Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1955 in Topeka, KS the daughter of Kenneth J. and Betty J. (Stout) Baker.

          Barbara graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1973. She lived in the Holton community since 1985 and previously in Wetmore. Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering for the  Crisis Pregnancy Center and area nursing homes. She was a member of Circleville Christian Church and former member of Holton First Baptist Church. She also volunteered at her churches.

          She married Johnny D. Lynch on August 9, 1975 in Tecumseh, KS. They celebrated over 44 years of marriage.

          Survivors include her husband, Johnny Lynch of the home; 2 sons, John H. Lynch of Circleville, KS and Jacob F. Lynch (Kim) of McFarland, KS; a daughter, Lisa Browning (Matt) of Circleville, KS; a sister, Karen Petersilie (Kenneth) of Garnett, KS; a brother, Harry Baker (Michelle) of West Plains, MO; 11 grandchildren, Jesse (Payton), Sydney and Lillian Lynch, Alexander, Talen and Brody Browning, Silas Lynch and Anissa, Rayona and Valantine Munoz and Ben Wade and 5 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Remington, Jackson, Lazarus and Ezequiel.

          She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Betty Baker.

          Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in the Wetmore Cemetery.
