Ricky " Rick" Eastwood

Ricky R. “Rick” Eastwood, 59, of Horton, KS, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 in Topeka after a courageous battle with larynx cancer. He was born November 16, 1959 in St. Joseph, MO, the son of Gene M. and Nancy “Rosella” (Coon) Eastwood.

Rick attended Holton High School. He had lived in the Horton community for over 20 years. Rick previously lived in Holton and Olathe. He worked for American Walnut in St. Joseph, Baum Motors in Holton, Clark Chevrolet in Holton and Strube Monument in Holton. Most recently he was working at Wilde Tools in Hiawatha. Rick also was self-employed detailing cars for many years.

 Rick and Deborah S. “Deb” Harms spent over 25 years together.

Survivors include Deb of the home; a brother, Jeff Eastwood (Amy) of Liberty, MO; 2 step-sons, Matthew Pilant of Topeka, KS and Kyle Pilant of Overland Park, KS; 2 step-daughters, Amber Pilant and Kimberly Tjelmeland both of Topeka; 2 step-grandchildren and one “on the way”.

 Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Rosella Eastwood and 2 brothers, Randy D. Eastwood and Christopher A. Eastwood.

 Memorial visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Rick’s family requests friends and family wear their favorite Chiefs shirt.
