Louis Henry Sohn, 64, of Horton, Kansas, passed on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at his home.

He was born on March 30, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Louis T. and Connie Jean Sohn. After high school Louis served in the U.S. Army. After his enlisted he returned home to farm with is father. Louis then owned and operated a sod farm and a trucking company before retiring. On August 14, 1999 he married Lori Ann Tice at Silver Dollar City.

Survivors include his wife, Lori Sohn of the home, Horton, Kansas; two sons, Louis James Sohn Jr. of Stillwell, Kansas and Mike Sohn of Horton, Kansas; mother, Connie Jean Sohn of Lees Summit, Missouri; sister, Connie Lou (Richard) Horne of Lees Summit, Missouri; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Christopher David Sohn.

The family will greet friends on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Ganzer Cemetery in Raytown, Missouri.
