Jeffrey Mount, 56, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away July 3, 2019 at his home. He was born July 25, 1962 at Falls City to Jerry and Sherry (Pebley) Mount.

He married Sheila Ramer Snodgrass on in March of 1982 at Verdon and they were later divorced. He married Patricia Leach on August 18, 1990 and they later divorced. He married Dawn Saunders on July 25, 1998 at Council Bluffs, IA.

He enlisted in the U. S. Navy on June 2, 1982 at Omaha, NE. He earned the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Navy Pistol Sharpshooter, Navy Recruiting Service Ribbons, Nay Unit Commendation, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and Gold Wreath Awards. He retired and was honorably discharged on June 30, 2004 at Great Lakes, IL.

Jeffrey was raised in Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1980. Following his retirement from the Navy he moved to Illinois. He was a sales manager at Catching Fluid Power at Rockford, IL at the time of his death. He was a member of First Christian Church at Falls City.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Dawn of Loves Park, IL, children, Joshua and his wife Sarah of Falls City, Nathan of Council Bluffs, IA, Cassie Mount of Loves Park, IL, mother and step-father, Sherry and Wayne Gatz of Falls City, brother, Tony and his wife Donna of Falls City, Dawn Paulson and her husband Mike of Omaha, NE, Tiffany Schulenberg and her husband Roger of Falls City, five grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Darius Schulenberg.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Fay Ann Blaylock officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside services by the Navy Honor Guard assisted by the Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
