Patricia Louise Pospisil, 84, of Rushville, MO died Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph, MO.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Fr. Jeremy Heppler, OSB officiating. The body has been cremated and interment of the cremated remains will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 14th, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses. Pat was born on Nov. 10, 1934 in Atchison Kansas the daughter of Emmett and Pauline (Drakely) Jackson. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1952. She was married to Barney Pospisil in Sept., 1954. They were later divorced. Pat owned and operated “Pat’s Steakhouse for over 47 years. She had attended St. Joseph’s Church, Atchison, was a member of the Atchison YMCA and attended Swim Class. She was a member of the NRA and enjoyed bowling, gambling, camping, and fishing. The annual “Testicle Festival” at Pat’s Steakhouse every year was a fund raiser for Shiners Crippled Children’s Fund.

Survivors include four sons: Randy (Rita) Pospisil, Weston, MO, Tom (Patty) Pospisil, Birchtree, MO, Barney Pospisil,Jr., Rushville, Mo, and Dennis Pospisil, Weston, MO, a daughter, Patricia “Mickie” (Chris) Burton, Birchtree, MO, a sister, Polly Jones, Atchison, KS, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Her parents, three brothers; Bud, Jerry, and Butch Jackson, and three sisters; Mary Frances Moore, Margie Larison, and Linda Jackson preceded her in death.
