Roy E. Arnold, 80, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 17, 2019 at Falls City. He was born July 30, 1938 at Barada, NE to Henry and Anna (Roth) Arnold. 

Roy was raised in the Barada, Shubert and Falls City area and graduated Falls City High School in 1955. He started working with Carl Mangold and Maze Construction in Falls City and then worked for G. A. Goodwin Building Contractor in Lincoln, NE, moving to Colorado in 1979 and continued to work for G. A. Goodwin until 1984 when he started Arnold and Beaudin Construction Company. He moved back to Falls City in 2003 following his retirement. He was an avid reader and enjoyed using the Falls City Library. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church northeast of Falls City

Roy is survived by his brothers, Walter and his wife Elizabeth of Nebraska City, Marvin of Falls City, Leon and his wife Beverly of Council Bluffs, IA, sister, Helen and Carolyn Arnold both of Falls City, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gary and a sister, Mary Arnold.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Brethren Church with Pastor Victor Haworth officiating. Inurnment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
