Cooper Charles Zeller, 22, Holton, KS passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Effingham, KS. He was born December 18, 1995 in Onaga, KS the son of Daniel Charles Zeller and Michelle (Eshom) Zeller.

Cooper graduated from Holton High School in 2014 and attended one year at Washburn University. He was very involved in Holton High School; he played football, baseball and wrestling; he was involved in FFA and Jackson County 4-H. Cooper was an avid hunter. He also played for the Washburn University football team.

 In high school he worked for the City of Holton on the brick crew; most recently he was a welder for R & S Maintenance in Meriden.

Survivors include his mother, Michelle Zeller of Hoyt; 3 brothers, Parker Zeller of Holton, David Heideman (Amanda) of Republic, MO and Chris Eshom (Jaimee) of Arkansas City, KS; a sister, Joni Wardosky (David) of Ft. Riley, KS and his paternal grandparents, Fred and Lois Zeller of Holton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Zeller and his maternal grandparents, LuJean Graybill and Don Eshom.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
