Stella Dibbern

Stella Marie Dibbern, 84, of Circleville, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.
 
She was born November 18, 1933 at Soldier, the daughter of Harold and Eulah Lane Douglas.
 
Stella was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church, the Circleville Saddle Club, the Elk Creek Turtle Club and NEKSAG.
 
After high school Stella worked at the Slimmaker Dress Factory and later for Trails Cafe, both in Holton.  She then worked at Holton Farm and Home, retiring after twenty years.
 
She married Robert Blackwell in 1952.  They were divorced.  She married Raymond L. Dibbern on November 4, 1974 at Miami, Oklahoma.  He survives, of the home.
 
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Wayne Douglas, who died in infancy, Gene Douglas and Morris Douglas, and a sister, Maxine McCrory.
 
Other survivors include one son, Randy Blackwell, Netawaka, one daughter, Sandy Blackwell (fiancee Robert Flake), Lake Lure, NC, brothers-in-law, Paul Dibbern (Sherri), Netawaka, and Kenny Dibbern (Joann), Hoyt, sisters-in-law, Neva Douglas and Carol Buehler (Jay), all of Holton, and Linda Walders (Carl), Delia, six grandchildren, Rachel Gross (Chris), Jamie Moser, Dana Murray (J.D.), Jason Langberg (Rachel), Bobbi Hunter (Alex) and Sean Langberg, and eleven great grandchildren, Macey, Tiah, Sadey and Thayne Gross, Baylee, Meagan and Jenna Pitts, Allie Blume, Karlee and Kylie Murray, Everett Langberg and her beloved horse, Billy.
 
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 1st at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton.  Cremation will follow the service and burial will be later in the Olive Hill Cemetery.  Stella will lie in state after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home where family and friends will meet from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Circleville United Methodist Church or Holton Community Hospital Physical Therapy Department, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 1034, Holton, KS  66436.  On-line condolences may be made at chapeloaksfuneralhome.com
